Shakugan no Shana

As you see from my nickname and header I’m anime fan.And this is the first anime review in my english blog.So I want to present you…
Shakugan no Shana (Shana of the Burning Eyes in english) is has few similarities with Bleach. There is a boy and girl.The girl , Shana , has special abilities and she’s a Flame Haze…Our guy is a torch.This means that he’s already dead but I won’t spoil you more.
This is one of my favourite 2005/2006 animes… It’s still on-going ,currently on episode 20.Shana (how I shortly name it) combines very well action with romance.Also super-abilities without having this "all-mighty" stuff… Shana is strong ,but not strong like superman.Anyway I would say that I fell in love with this anime from first episode.It’s in my all-time favourite list.
The animation is beautiful.Everything is done in this typical for new animes style ,the characters look a bit childish ,but they’re cute anyway.Shana is drawn very well with unique style that you can recognize here everywhere.Artists have done good work and I can give 9/10 here!
The plot is interesting.It not very original as a whole ,but has it’s strong sides.The idea of torches is may be my favourite one in this anime..Flame Haze is also great.As I said there are likenessеs between Bleach and Shana but I can’t say that they are many and important.The most important thing is that plot is wonderful and once you start it ,you can’t stop till you watch all the episodes!I can say only good thing for the intro/outro music ,it’s not Hellsing or Elfen Lied but still the music rocks.
If you’re an anime fan this is a requirement for you.But even if you are not so interested in anime you can give it a try.It doesn’t hurt.WATCH IT ^_^
